When I imported a spreadsheet, I received an error message that I should upload a CSV or Excel file. What do I do?

To determine the type of the file you are currently trying to upload, do the following:

On a PC:

1. Find the file on your computer you are trying to upload into ACS 

2. Right click on the file name

3. Click on Properties

4. Within Properties, you will see the type of file. You will want to make sure you are uploading an Excel Document

Note: If you would like to change the file type, you may open the document and click Save As. For further help on changing the file type, please access the Help feature within your Microsoft Office Excel product.

 

On a Mac:

1. Find the file on your computer you are trying to upload into ACS 

2. Right click on the file name

3. Click Get Info

3. Within Info, you will see the kind of file. You will want to make sure you are uploading an Excel Document

Note: If you would like to change the file type, you may open the document and click Save As. For further help on changing the file type, please access the Help feature within your Microsoft Office Excel product.
