How to add/edit/delete an email template

To add a new email template follow these steps:

  1. Hover over the Recruits or Roster tab
  2. Click Correspondence Tools
  3. Click Templates
  4. Click New Email Template
  5. Click the Source Icon  in the bottom left hand corner of the email editor (if you would like to add HTML graphics or text) 
  6. Paste any HTML coding available in this view (if necessary) 
  7. Click on the Design Icon  to add text to the template
  8. Click Save & Return

Notes:

  • To ensure your images and text are aligned properly use the 'Insert Table' icon
  • If you already have a template designed with the HTML script, you will need to copy the HTML code from that template into a text edit program before pasting it into the new email template. We recommend Text Wrangler (Mac users), Notepad (PC users), or Text Edit (Mac users). 

 

To edit an existing email template follow these steps:

  1. Hover over the Recruits or Roster tab
  2. Click Correspondence Tools
  3. Click Templates
  4. Click on the specific template name to open the email template you would like to edit
  5. Edit the selected email template to your satisfaction
    • Note: This is where you will add a contact card or customized signature to your default email template
  6. Click Save & Return

 

To delete an existing email template follow these steps:

  1. Hover over the Recruits or Roster tab
  2. Click Correspondence Tools
  3. Click Templates
  4. Click the "X" icon  to the left of the template you would like to delete
    • Note: Please proceed with caution when deleting email templates. This action is permanent and templates cannot be retrieved once deleted
